kay im pretty sure that this tpic has come up before but i have a dilema and was wondering if anyone could help.
i knw its haraam but if u have a relationship with a boy who is a good muslim, frm the same sect and everything but ur nt married to him and ur parents dnt knw. his mum knws but desnt like me because 1. we went behind her back and its haraam 2. because we're not from the same background. so what am i meant to do. do i break up with him and start frm scratch-pray for forgiveness and pretend to my husband that im pure and all or do i tell my parents about my man and hope for the best. knwing that his mum dissapproves, but then wouldnt that mean that we were still committing sin because if his mum doesnt like it our marriage will still be haraam????

If this is someone you want to spend the rest of your life with, maybe think about how it would go if both sets of parents did talk it through and see what you can do to go from there? If you are able to talk to your parents and get their advice, that may be helpful. I'm pretty sure that if you got married you wouldn't be committing a sin and it wouldn't be haraam even if his mum disapproved, but it's important that both of you are respectful to her nonetheless
