The Stieg Larsson books are fantastic! Read them all.
Some recommendations:

Lolita by Nabokov -- greatest novel ever!
Lord of the Rings - greatest fantasy ever!
A Wizard of Earthsea by Ursula K Le Guin
Muhammad: (sal Allahu alayhi wa sallam) - by Martin Lings - best English language sira book!
Madame by Antoni Libera

Have you seen the movies based on the books by Stieg Larsson?

I have seen the first. I am yet to finish the third book, multiple things got in my way and I started new books. But when I do, I shall finish the second two.

I know they're making newer versions of the movies. They don't look as good to be honest.

yes i have seen all 3 movies, you can download them or get them from amazon, the first film is a instant classic but the other too are just good. I loved the books. The American remake trailer by the guy who made seven seems really good. These films are quite explicit so if u r one of those Muslims offended by nudity id skip them.

I love the books too. They are written really well and the plot is just outstanding. The fact that it goes deeper on so many levels, and there's more to it than you'd expect will forever astonish me. It is such a shame Larsson was acknowledged after his death.

I don't think there's too much nudity? I shall watch the film regardless, I can skip parts I do not wish to see.

I recently read "The Ice Cream Girls" and it's brilliant. The storyline.. the development of what happened and the cunning tactics of Marcus. It's amazing.
