Hence we select the latest trends from the highstreet and put together outfits and give tips on how you can wear different items and still look your best without baring too much flesh!
Please visit it, and let us know what you think, its still very new so we would love to have your comments, and also you can email us if there are particular ideas you would like for an occasion such as a graduation do.

Re: Are you Hijablicious?
Salaam Humaira, and thanks for your reply!
The main ethos of hijab is modesty, and there are many people like you who may not wear the headscarf but still remain modest, and this is definitely important, simply wearing a scarf does not mean you are immediately modest, as it depends on your outlook, your intentions and of course the rest of your outfit besides the scarf.
And again , like you said, on the other side, if you do wear the headscarf, you are immediately forced to go into certain categories and dress a certain way sometimes under the influence of friends or the community. Some people feel it means giving up fashion, donning a black abaya and that's it!
At Hijablicious,we want to show that while our aim is modesty, and not to attract attention to ourselves in the wrong way and be treated like sexual objects, as women are so much in this society, we are still individuals who can express ourselves through what we wear. We CAN be trendy, original and expressive and modest at the same time!
I am very glad you liked the website, you can join the facebook fan group http://www.facebook.com/hijabliciousand if you have twitter, follow us at http://www.twitter.com/hijablicious
We will also be having some hijab tutorials put up inshallah on youtube which will show you how to wear the headscarf with a funky twist!
Make sure you leave a comment on the site! and keep tuned!

And who would be the judge of "flaunting your flesh"?

firstly, yourself. look in the mirror? and you should maturely judge what you are buying/wearing.
then take advice from your parents/family/close friends. because you may be the one wearing the items, but your friends can see what you look like from a different person's perspective. i especially ask my brother/dad because they can tell me what vibe I'm giving off to men.
still not sure? look it up - how much flesh you're aloud to uncover and where according to islamic principles and hopefully that will give you the answer!

Hum I was interogating Hijabilicious.
And perhaps you have the right idea... but we need to elaborate.
Quran 24:30
http://www.islamawakened.com/quran/24/30/default.htm (I used to not like this website, then I realized it was okay)
Say to the believers (masculine) (to) lower/humble from their eye sights, and they protect/safe keep from their genital parts between their legs, that is more pure/correct for them, that the God (is) expert/experienced with what they make/do .
If it's fashionable... and it is, I know I'm not going to get peace in me eyes.

Asalaamu alyakum Hijablicious and all
This website is great! I did wear the Hijab but because I only wore black it looked a little boring so I stopped
But I do dress modestly though. I love the website, and will be joining the FaceBook page as well. Thank you for posting here as I will now be wearing the Hijab once again thanks to the fashionable styles shown.
May Allah reward you for letting is know. Ameen.
