Campaign
Not In My Game

International cricket stars from past and present have come together to urge sports fans across the world to take a stand against terrorism for the launch of Not In My Game. Cricketing hero Mushtaq Ahmed joined England internationals Owais Shah and Shaun Udal in calling for cricket lovers everywhere to send a clear message that terrorism has no place in sport. Mushtaq Ahmed said:
“Playing cricket has always been one of the most important things in my life. This passion for the game is shared by millions of cricket fans at home and across the globe: a love of cricket unites us all, irrespective of where we’re from and whom we support.
This summer, the Pakistan team is holding its home series in England. Safety concerns, following the terrorist attack last March when the Sri Lankan cricket team was fired upon in Lahore, now prevent them playing at home. Atrocities like these have terrible impact on the game we love. It affects everyone and everything – players, fans and morale. That’s why I’m backing Not In My Game, a campaign which sends a clear message that terrorism will not be tolerated in cricket or any other sport”.
